A nine-month-old boy has appeared in court accused of planning a murder in Pakistan, it has been reported.
Baby Muhammad Mosa Khan has also been charged with threatening police and interfering in state affairs.

He is facing charges along with other family members following a raid by police to catch suspected gas thieves in Lahore. He was granted bail and the case was adjourned until April 12.

A nine-month-old boy has appeared in court accused of planning a murder, threatening police and interfering in state affairs in Pakistan, according to reports

Images have emerged of the baby apparently appearing in court, clutching his bottle while sitting on his father's lap on Thursday.
A police report alleged the suspects tried to murder officers by throwing stones at them during the raid.

The report lodged a complaint against Muhammad Yassen's whole family, which included his nine-month-old grandson, The Express Tribune reported.
Sub-Inspector Kashif Ahmed has now reportedly been suspended for registering the case against the child.
The child's father said the group had been protesting against a shortage of electricity in their area, The Times of India reported.

The child was charged along with other members of his family following a raid by police to catch suspected gas thieves in Lahore

The judge was unable to dismiss the case against the child because it was outside of his jurisdiction, The News International has reported.
Punjab's Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif meanwhile has now intervened and ordered a report from the police's Inspector General.
He also reportedly demanded 'stern action' against the officials responsible for bringing the case, according to The Nation.
The Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Khalil Tahir Sindhu is also said to have taken notice of the case.

Ritualist Den and Baby Factory Uncovered In Ogun, Youths Set Building Ablaze

There was pandemonium in the Akinremi Estate, Adigbe, Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Thursday as some youths in the area discovered a secret baby factory in a vicinity known as Vulcaniser Bus Stop. The incident comes barely two weeks after eight women were rescued from a baby factory in Akute area of the state.

“When the youths heard of the Thursday incident, they took the law into their hands. They set the place ablaze, but policemen attached to the Quick Response Squad stopped them from doing more damage. The youths refused to leave until the police fired teargas canisters.

“The place was uncovered in the wee hours of Thursday when one of the victims escaped and ran into a nearby building. She pleaded with the residents to save her from her assailants.

“The pregnant woman said she was from Abia State and her elder sister sold her to the people for N100, 000.”

A traffic official, who witnessed the incident, said the youths were able to recover a blood-filled basin, coffin, mortar, calabash, effigy, assorted charms, clothes, live scorpion and other suspected fetish items…

Eyewitnesses told Punch that the youths broke into the compound and in a fit of rage, they were said to have set two vehicles ablaze as well as the one-storey building.

According to residents, the building was let out to an unidentified individual. It was said that trouble began after a pregnant woman, escaped from the building. The matter was reported at the Adigbe Police Division and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. It was learnt that when the police searched the building, three other pregnant women and five children were rescued.
The state Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, told reporters that 3 pregnant ladies and five kids were rescued from the base.
Okoye appealed to residents to be calm and vigilant, adding that thorough investigation would be carried out.
